ConsultationsWellness consultations provide educational sessions and follow-up materials for stress management and relaxation techniques, smoking cessation and weight management through nutrition and exercise education. Scheduled Programs/Classes/EventsArthritis/Fibromyalgia Support Group—During the spring through fall months the group meets for camaraderie, guest speakers, support and activities about their respective conditions. The group facilitator arranges for each meeting to have a distinctive theme. The program is coordinated by a registered nurse and the programs are presented at your workplace during working hours. By keeping your employees healthy, worksite productivity increases. Programs include blood screenings, flu vaccines, speaker presentations, CPR training, and other options that can be customized to your place of business. Sponsored by the American Cancer Society and is free of charge. Offered regularly throughout the year and pre-registration is required. They learn safety and security precautions, receive information on child development and age-appropriate activities, as well as, the business aspects of babysitting.
