Speakers Bureau

Online Speakers Bureau Request Form

ImageGarrett County Memorial Hospital offers not-for-profit/non-profit community groups and organizations the opportunity to learn more about modern health from exceptional professionals in the field.

Speakers may be requested online or by calling the Public Relations Department at (301) 533-4041. The Public Relations Department will coordinate between the group or organization making a request and the requested speaker to ensure an enjoyable, educational experience. Speaker requests must be made at least one month in advance of the date desired for the speaking engagement.

A variety of physicians, nurses and hospital staff are available to address a variety of topics from “brown-bag” prescription drug checks to women's health. If your group or organization is interested in a topic not listed at this web site, include the desired topic in your request. The Speakers Bureau is a consumer-focused community education effort, so speakers’ services are not intended for use as training for healthcare staff.

Upon receipt of your request, the Public Relations Department will first verify the speaker's availability and then send you a speaking engagement confirmation. Your group or organization will be responsible for providing facilities adequate to host the speaker, but speakers' services are provided free-of-charge. The Speakers Bureau will attempt to fulfill all requests, but at times may be unable to do so due to speakers' schedule conflicts.
Thank you for your interest in the Speakers Bureau. Garrett County Memorial Hospital looks forward to sharing its wealth of knowledge.
