The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center provides services which help individuals with chronic cardiovascular disease to live well and reduce the risk of future cardiac events; and help individuals with chronic lung disease to live well and manage symptoms. Programs include a 12 week/36 session class that incorporate educations, exercise, and lifestyle modification to ensure optimal recovery for patients with heart and lung diseases. Both, the cardiac and pulmonary patient’s receive functional testing for their exercise capacity and an individualized exercise program. Education and intervention in dietary considerations, lifestyle changes, medication control, stress reduction techniques, smoking cessation and other psychosocial concerns are included as part of both rehabilitation programs.
